Thread: [Poll] Whats Your Emu?

we need something unique to bring players, someone needs to release something for only here, im working on it :)

Im sure alot of people are like me and havent found a emu they like best yet cause they have trouble setting them up. Ive tried setting up my own TC2 and Mangos server but I either have sql problems or compiling errors so I always end up playing with a repack.
Since most people on this poll say arcemu is easy Im going to try that cause Im never happy with repacks. I just want to play single player through the quest and alot focus more on item sets and malls.
I never played with anything like sql or the likes until setting up this server so it can be overwhelming sometimes. But after spending a total of $100 on the game and a few months of fee's I dont want to waste anymore money trying to get into the lore of the game to go into a town and here anal or chuck norris stuff all day.

I got to say ive learned more about sql and the way db's and cores work in the last two days playing with arcemu then I did the 3 weeks I played with tc2 and mangos. They have great noob-friendly documentations.
I think Im going to use whydb. This a good db for a blizzlike server? Im just setting it up for me and a few friends too quest. I dont care too much about battlegrounds or arenas.
