Thread: Blizzard not doing what they should..

Well i don't know about that... im sure that they can do anything but also im sure they are making alot of money so they don't care about private servers...

Blizzard doesn't really care much about private servers. And the whole process to get a little private server shut down, costs them a lot of money.. Also a reason for them to ignore private servers..

On the other hand, it is helping them in some sort of way. I know a lot of players who started on a private server but ended up playing official.

Yea that's true... if you are fun player than go on private servers... but if you are serious player go to official

Blizzard basicly lives from the Private Servers. They have all the ideas from them.

I cannot really agree with you on that one. The idea's we have on the private server is unrealistic really and wont help the game experience in WoW. Imagine blizzard developers having a leveling road XD or an area where ALL vendors and trainers are together... syeah, like that's gonna happen :P

Actually Kjanko is right. They do get idea's from private servers. Ofc not the things you said. But I can ensure you they do get ideas from private servers =]. There are retail staff members playing private servers just to get ideas.

If they really do, than they're breaking their own Terms. They might look on your website and browse through your forum. Maybe they even sign up to have access to more content or w/e.

But.. You know, I haven't seen any good idea(s) out there that could be valuable for the official server. The idea's are nice for small communities and private server to make it "fun" to play on.

Is there anything anyone can give as example that blizzard has used on their own servers that they "stole" from the private servers? I haven't seen that happen to be honest.
