In this topic you will learn how to make a fully operational World of Warcraft server patch version 3.1.3 or 3.2.2 based on the Matrix Core

Part 1 - Needs Software:

5. MatrixCore DB [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
6. A copy of the game World of Warcraft: Wrath of The Lich King to version 3.1.3 or 3.2.2 Nucleus depends on what you will use.

Part 2 - Installation:

1. Install XAMPP 1.7.3 Beta 2 (open end XAMPP Control Panel and check the box next to "Install Apache as a service" and "Install MySQL as a service"). NOTE: If you have Skype installed, it is advisable to turn it off or set it to run on port other than 80, because it will interfere with Apache.

2. Install SQLyog Community Edition 8.2 RC2.

3. Install Microsoft. NET Framework 3.5 SP1 (if none).

4. Make selected folder in a directory server that will sit files.

5. Put ad.exe extractor (which can be found in /src/contrib/ extractor /) folder of the game. Start ad.exe file and wait. When you reach 100% in the window caption will appear "Press any key to continue ...". Press the button on the keyboard and the window will close. It will take about 30 minutes (depending on your PC-it). Move the maps and dbc folders in a pre-made for such a file server.

6. Put Vmaps extractor (which can be found here /src/contrib/vmap_extract_assembler_bin/) to a selected folder and run the file makevmaps_SIMPLE.bat and wait. It will take quite some time. There is no indication as to understand in what time will do. When done a message will appear "Press any key to continue ...". Press the button on the keyboard and the window will close. Drag the folder named vmaps folder server files.

7. Put all files compile a kernel to a folder on server files.

8. Let your favorite web browser and open it from the following link - [url = "http://localhost/security/index.php"] http://localhost/security/index.php [/ url]. If you have done everything correctly, you need to open a page with a name XAMPP for Windows Version 1.7.3 Beta 2 | Security Section. From MYSQL SECTION: "ROOT" PASSWORD box, set the password of the MySQL server. It is recommended that it is the matrix, to avoid having to set up additional server config files afterwards.

9. Start SQLyog, click continue and will open Connect to MySQL Host window. Select New and type a name. In the password box type the MySQL password that you just did, and then click Connect. Asks whether you want to save changes - click Yes.
Click the DB inscription (in the upper left corner) and select Create Database ... In the Enter new database name and select the world write Create. Thus you need to make 2 more databases with the following names: characters and realmd.

10. Click the right mouse button on the characters database and choose Restore From SQL Dump. Go to the directory server log files in the folder and sql. It characters.sql select the file and click Open. Click on Execute and wait until a site does not appear caption "Import Successful". After the show, close the window. Similarly, import-net following files written against them in databases:

Part 3 - Tuning

1. Log back in SQLyog, double-click basis realmd will appear several folders. Double-click the Tables folder, then press the right mouse button on realmlist column and select View Data.

2. Under the column "name" type the name of your server, and 127.0.0.1 in place of "address" box, write down your IP.

3. Press the save icon, located above the "id" field.

4. MatrixCore.conf open and look out for these lines:

In place of the trinity write the name and password you wrote in xampp.
5. Now open MatrixRealm.conf and do the same with this line:

Run the server:

To start the server needs to go to the server files folder and start MatrixRealm.exe MatrixCore.exe and waiting to be loaded on the server which is about one minute.
