I'm new to the whole server emu thing, doing it mainly to learn how to write LUA and to have a little sandbox for hubby and myself to goof around in. I'll probably end up being one of the older folks to hang out here (35 in a month and a half-ish). Did a lot of oldschool programming, dating back to BASIC on the C64 and working on up from there. Used to play MUDs before I took up WoW, in fact, I think a MUCK or two may still be using MUF script I wrote 10-15 years ago.
I'll try not to be too noobish, I can usually puzzle things out on my own, I've just been looking for a good community of people who know the ropes and this seems like a decent place. I'm laid back, hard to offend, and I don't do drama.
