Will do just need to have another installation of WoW to test it grabbing a US version now and will grab a beta version of Cata while i am on and i might have a look at some of the early Cata servers that are floating about :p while i am on with it all.


Edit: getting this CRC error while trying to unpack and i have dloaded it twice to make sure it wasnt the dload.

Edit: Looks good so far done some quick tests with pali, mage and lock all is good so far same old problem with mages spell mirror image not working but dont think i have ever seen that spell work on a mangos core yet. Also multi passenger mounts dont work but again not seen them working on a mangos core yet.

Quick question. In the step in which i am creating the account. Am i supposed to have three different usernames? And when i type in ".account set addon (username)" It tells me some stuff about different numbers for different expansions. Am i supposed to specify which xpac i have? Also, do i have to change my realmlist if i want to play? Sorry for the noobish questions. I usually stick to ArcEmu Compiles. First Mangos server.

Excellent i got it working. I went into ICC and attacked marrowgar to see if he would bone spike or bone storm and he didn't. Are scripts not working for this repack? Have they never worked?

I am not sure how much has been scripted in this repack yet. TRM will be able to give you more info on whats scripted. I know in other repacks TRM works very hard to bring instances up to speed as far as scripting goes. Best to wait till later today and see what TRM says.

Hey TRM i noticed that i cannot find this model shoulder at all. Boneguard Commander's Pauldrons - Item - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/item=50660)
I can find the item but the model ends up looking like warrior tier 10. I do not know why.
Could you possibly update the repack to have that model? Thanks man ^_^ great repack!

Is it normal i can't enchant custom items? And weapons does not count as weapons (when spell require melee weapon etc). Also i dont see gems and enchants on "Heroic" items.

Yes, if you are using custom items/weapons then you are on your own; I provide a Blizzlike server. The Enchants & Gems not being "seen" has been a problem on MaNGOS since 3.0.0 but you'll have the stat/gem bonuses when enchanted or gemed.

Does anyone know how I can make this server public just for myself and my brother (we share same IP adress). Would Hamachi work? Like would I be able to change mangosd and realmd to my hamachi IP? For example change these to my hamachi

If you are sharing an IP address and are on the same router you would use your internal IP address as the realmlist.wtf, example:

Type the Windows Key + R (or Start > Run)

cmdThen in the console type

ipconfig /allAs in the below screenshot note your IPv4 address:

I have about 4 others helping me test the server so It allows me to dedicate my time to fixing the instances. I hope to be able to get them running smooth and then share my updated DB's.
