It will be open source, currently it's in VERY low Alpha phase 0.0.0.3 But so far I've got my sprite engine, sound effects, background music, and animation working.

Save files in .ini format, can be easily edited with a text editor (player_0001.sav)

(Yes, I know it's a early alpha, I'm just suggesting changes in minor things)

- Should implement a window resizing feature, 'cause yeah, it's annoying without it imo.
- Make a view of the character, that has him/her just standing, so that when you hit the left or right arrow, they aren't frozen in the running position, which makes it look weird
- Change the timing between the sounds for steps, as it gets annoying to, a little too repetitive
- Implement a "music player" feature maybe, no bigs

I can help out with design work, been using photoshop for about 11 years. I can do anything you need, Im looking for some help myself, maybe we can trade skills.

If you want to design a 2d game, use 2d models. If you just want to clone WoW, use a 3D engine

Trying to use WoW's models in a 2d plane will just look bad
