Hello friends, I recommend this guide as it helps reduce latency (Delay, slowness, Lag) of our WoW and is very good for those who have private servers helps wonderfully.
This I did on my computer with Windows XP.
I DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH OR WRITE THE WHOLE WAS TRANSLATED IN GOOGLE ... XD;);):D:D
Before starting with this guide I recommend you first make a test speed of your internet.
In my case I had these
PING = 245ms
= 2357Kbps download speed
346Kbps upload speed =
after making phone
PING = 167ms
= 3065Kbps download speed
745Kbps upload speed =
(I use the broadband services of 3 megabytes)
Hope that helps, I am not responsible for damages they cause in their computers .... But having said that, provided they follow these precise steps, you have nothing to worry about.
Here we go .....

We will edit the Windows XP registry to reduce latency
1. We click on Start / Run
2. Enter type CMD to open the Command Window
3. Write ipconfig.
4. Get your IP address (Write it down), close the command window.
Usually we have our Private IP to time we are going to edit the registry xD.

5. We click on Start / Run
6. Enter REGEDIT and write we will open the Registry Editor

7. First make a backup in case something goes wrong (by clicking "My Computer" in the registry, right click and select "Export" go to your desktop or wherever you save it and name it "backup registry , make sure that Export Range is set to ALL, you click Save) and the backup list.
8. A time / date access to the registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Services \ Tcpip \ Parameters \ Interfaces.
9. We click on the folders in the list and find your IP as one of the values in the right pane (such as a value called "DhcpDefaultGateway" and / or "DhcpIPAddress"

10. Now they have found the correct folder, move the mouse pointer on the white field on the right side, a blank area and right click
11. We choose New / DWORD Value

12. This will create a new registry key in the list, named "New Value # 1"
13. Change the name of that key to "TcpAckFrequency" (without the "" quotes)

14. Right-click on the new registry key and select MODIFY
15. In the "Value data" changed from 0 to 1

16. We click OK
17. Close the registry editor by clicking the X in the upper right corner
18. In due time we click on START / CONTROL PANEL / NETWORK CONNECTIONS
19. Right click on your primary Internet connection, it is likely that this so-called "Local Area Connection" and select Disable.

20. Take a moment until the connection is disabled.
21. Ow right click and select Enable, this requires making a new connection and use the changes to the registry.

Another thing that causes the latency is to have the old patch extractor no longer need
1. We come to your World of Warcraft installation directory (usually "C: \ Program Files \ World of Warcraft") or where you have it.
2. You will find in this folder all the patches that were downloaded and installed already in the game, so you no longer need.
3. The files you're looking for not only the patches, but also downloaded it. Exe for the patch.
4. You are looking for files with names similar to the "WoW-2.3.0.7561-to-2.3.2.7741-enUS-patch.exe" which is the patch "WoW-2.3.0.7561-to-2.3.2.7741-enUS- downloader. exe "is the downloader for the patch. The files have icons as follows .... Downloader icon looks like a tornado and the icon of the patch is like shooting stars.
5. Deleted files that match, or right click and select Delete or just press the Delete key on the keyboard.
6. Now all they need do is simply find all files that meet that criterion. For each file will patch.exe Downloader.exe. Once again, delete.
7. You may find you have some extra files Downloader, but no patch to go with them, can go ahead and delete them also. As well all files named something similar to "WoW-2.3.0-enUS-patch.exe.PART" which is simply a patch that has not finished downloading for any reason, as you may have downloaded a specific patch FilePlanet and installed, so the game detects that you no longer need the patch and stopped downloading.
** IMPORTANT **
You may notice there is a folder in that folder called "Patches", this is the folder used by the Blizzard Downloader to download the current patch, so I suggest you not touch it unless they want to re-download the patches again.
Well do it again now test your internet speed and if you did everything right, its latency should have fallen.
