Hello MMO-PRO,
In Order for this to work, you need to have:-
1-.NET Framework 3.5 SP 1 (Full Package) (http://download.microsoft.com/download/2/0/e/20e90413-712f-438c-988e-fdaa79a8ac3d/dotnetfx35.exe).
2-Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86) (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=9b2da534-3e03-4391-8a4d-074b9f2bc1bf).
3-WoW client (1.12.1)
How to install:-
1)Download and extract the repack to "C:/".
2)go to the "tools" folder in the repack, and then to the "Map-VMap extractors" folder.
3)copy "ad.exe" to your wow (1.12.1) directory and run it (takes some time). You will get
two new folders "maps" and "dbc".
4)copy these two new folders back to "C:/Smart Ass Child's PRE,..".
5) now go back to ".../tools/Map-VMap extractors/" and copy what is inside the
"vmap_extract_assembler_bin" folder back to "C:/Smart Ass Child's PRE,..".
6)now run the "makevmaps_SIMPLE.bat" and wait till its done (takes some time),..
7)continue to the steps in the video.
8)Enjoy!
How to Backup Accounts/Characters from old Repack:-
1)Run your (OLD) server and go to SQLYog.
2)Right-click the "characters" DB and select "Backup/Export->Backup Database As SQL Dump...".
3)Choose the destination you want the backup file to be and its name.
4)Click "EXPORT".
5)Then Go to the "Realmd->Tables->account" DB and repeat step 2->4 except for the "account" table instead of "characters".
6)After you install the "NEW" repack, run the new server and open SQLYog again.
7)Right-click on the "characters" DB and select "More Database Operations->Empty Database".\
8)Now Right-click on the "characters" DB again and this time select "Import->Restore from SQL DUMP" and select the "Characters" backup file.
9)Click on "open" then "Execute".
10)Now repeat steps 7->9 except with the "Realmd->Tables->account" instead of the "characters" DB.
11)Enjoy!
