It came out three days ago.
Here's a review of my experience with it:
What is unique about Google Chrome?
It's very minimalistic.
The most used functions are shown, and you don't have to click around in a million menus to find the things you need. Actually, there's only 2 dropdown-menus, of what I've seen.
How minimalistic is Google Chrome?
With my calculations on a 1440x900 screen, it's using 8% of the total screen size (when maximized). The rest is used on the visual Web content.
The status bar is hidden untill you move the mouse over a link, or the browser is working, so it's saving as much space as possible.
What about performance?
When it comes to performance, it beats both FireFox, IE6, IE7, Safari and Opera. It's using ONLY 13-18 MB RAM, while FireFox 2.x is using 40-45 MB, IE7 is using 35-40 MB and Safari is using something between 30 and 40 MB.
Besides that, it's using maximum 2-3% of my CPU, which is an Intel Core 2 Duo 1.8 GHz, which is pretty much under the average computer's CPU-power nowadays.
Most of the time, it stays at 0-1% CPU usage.
Are there any special options/functions in Google Chrome?
Well, an empty tab is displaying thumbnails of the last 8 visited websites, and there's a complete history, where you can search for sites. Both URL and title.
When you enter an URL, Google Chrome is searching for a match. When a match is found, it'll display under the bar - With title, so you can click it to go there.
Do you think Google Chrome recommendable?
Yes, absolutely.
