[Review] God of war 3

I never played any god of war games besides the psp version and even though it was short and quite easy , it was one of the best games i have ever played on a handheld.

So you can imagine my joy when i heard god of war 3 was coming out for the ps3. I picked up gow3 with high expectations and they were all fulfilled.

You start at the beginning like most of the god of war games you are a total badass, keeping every power up and weapon you had at the end of the second game. You are riding on the back of one of the titans while they clime mount olympus to bring the pain to the gods....

And pain is a understatement total and complete destruction is more appropriate.

For example the first boss is not only a super strong guy but infact one of the gods themselves! And of course kratos not only kills him but RIPS HIS ****ING EYES OUT (which is quite amazing as you view it from the dieing gods perspective).

Unfortunately you end up losing all this power after you fall from olympus(after being pushed off by zues lol) and fall into hades were some azzhole spirits get off by riping the very power from your body and stealing all your orbs(don't bother with the red orb boxes at the beginning you lose them all). But offcourse this does not stop kratos who goes about the rest of the game gaining even more power and weapons from various gods he curbs stomps ontop of the mountain (oh did i mention he FLYS THE FUK OUT OF HADES LIKE A BOSS) even going as far as ripping the very head of helios off his shoulders WHILE HES STILL ALIVE!

One of the best new features in gw3 is the item gauge or the item bar were your various items such as Apollo's bow, Herme's boots or Helios' head(lol) draw there power from, this is great because in past gow games the off items or weapons drawed from mana which ended up leaving you extremely underpowered if you had to use these items multiple times in a row.

Puzzles in most games are hard or just so easy you wonder why they are there but in gow3 puzzles turn into more of a break were you can aquire many power ups such as orbs and the various health/mana/energy power ups and some puzzles even give time to read up on lore or past events in the gow saga.

Boss battles have turned from awesome to the most epic things ever created, while this was true in all of the gow games even more so in gow3 because of the fact that 99% of the bosses are infact super powered gods which in most cases get wtfowned by Kratos either by decapitation, getting there legs cut off, or punching there fuking faces in. And these boss battles happen with such frequency that the whole game is nothing but blood bath most of the time.

And last but not least the lore, the gow saga has always been true to the backstory of all the gods and events infact besides Kratos becoming the raging embodyment of all that is epic in the world and killing everything everywere EVER in the greek mythos everything before him is true to the storys, for example unlike most stupid bullshit movies or games who make out Hades to be something like the devil who wanting to destroy everything other then his domain and rule the world, it shows that he is infact quite content with dealing with the dead and staying were he is, even going as far as showing how he morns over the death of his brother Poseidon niece Athena and wife Persefone(who by the way was a total ***** who hated his guts and desired to destroy everything involving the gods in the psp version of the game before Kratos did).

All in all this game is the very pinnacle of awesome from the badass beginning were you do nothing but kill the so called unkillable gods to the badass end were...

Anyone who tells you this game sucks is a liar or a huge troll and deserves to burn in hades(ohwaithesdeadlol).
