auth.php
open it and search for case 'sha1'

old code replace with this one
case 'sha1':

return (sha1(strtolower($password)));


The reason we have to do this is ipb reads it normally, but in auth everything is upper.

Its a simple fix, and it will work 100% on 3.4.6 version of ipboard, for other versions i'm not really sure!
