Thread: {SuperGuide} Create,Compile,Configure,MaNGOS + UDB + Scriptdev2(3.x.x+)

Hello, I don't know if I might have missed something or done something incorrectly. But when I attempt to "build" ScriptDev2 (With Microsoft Visual C++ Express 2010) everything goes fine until it gets to "ScriptMgr.cpp"



After a few moments it will say: Build: 0 succeeded, 1 failed, 0 up-to-date, 0 skipped. But give me no indication as to why. I have looked for threads on this on the internet and tried to solve the problem myself. I also re-downloaded ScripdDev2 a number of times. I used SVN Checkout to download it.

Since I am almost completely inexperienced in this, I would appreciate help of those with more knowledge than I, please.

I had the same problem. We did this on 2 computers, the better one tried with 2010 and wouldn't work so we used 2008 and it was fine. The lesser machine (mine ) used 2008, got the error, so I compiled using the VC80 version and just converted. Worked fine, although at one point I had to delete the scriptdev2 folder and did SVN checkout step again, then got it to work using 80. Hope that helps.
