Now, all of us can get there account hacked, thats why i posted this thread, to make sure you know what you are doing.
First of all, its not recommended to give out your email in a thread/post , by doing that, you kind of tell the scammers "Come and get me!" , as soon as they got your email they will prob send a fake email to you and try to get your account information. And that is why you never enter your email adress in a post/thread.
A fake email can look like:
Greetings,
An investigation of your World of Warcraft account has found strong evidence that the account in question is being sold or traded.
As you may not be aware of, this conflicts with Blizzard's EULA under section 4 Paragraph B which can be found here:
href=http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/legal/eula.html rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> WoW -> Legal -> End User License Agreement
and Section 8 of the Terms of Use found here:
href=http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/legal/termsofuse.htmlrel="nofollow" target="_blank"> WoW -> Legal -> Terms of Use</a><br><br>
The investigation will be continued by Blizzard administration to determine the action to be taken against your account.
If your account is found violating the EULA and Terms of Use, your account can, and will be suspended/closed/or terminated.
In order to keep this from occurring, you should immediately verify that you are the original owner of the account.
To verify your identity please visit the following webpage:
<a href=PHISINGSITEl?locale=en_US rel="nofollow" target="_blank">https://www.worldofwarcraft.com/logi...t%2Findex.html
Only Account Administration will be able to assist with account retrieval issues.
Thank you for your time and attention to this matter, and your continued interest in World of Warcraft.
Sincerely,
Account Administration
Blizzard Entertainment

>>>> The above email wants you to enter there FAKE World of Warcraft login page, more like a PHISING SITE. When you enter you information there the owner of the phising site, recives all your information in there database.
They can also send a similar fake email, but then they can ask you to send all your information to them. And that is a complete failure if you trust that that is blizzard, BLIZZARD NEVER ASK FOR YOUR PASSWORD!
And, they do not ask for any email password either.
--------------------------------------------------------
When you find a buyer/trader , always make sure you know who he is, ask him
his first and last name etc.... Then discuss the payment method/Trading method. First of all, do NOT give any account information before you recive the payment, but that depends on how the payment goes.
The safest payment method is to meet somewhere in real life.
.................................................. ............................
And of course, do not link any armory links in your post/thread, that can get your account banned.
And always make sure you trust the buyer/trader!
I guess thats all i wanted to say!
Good luck!
Regards,
Dr. Emu

Yeah, good post - but If they're trading their account, they should know NOT to give any info before Payment, and if the Buyer ask you do, usally means a Scam. Also, it's fine to give your E-mail out in your post, if you are not dumb (Sorry to say, but people who fall for Phishers, generally are - because it's usally something like www.h1.ripway/WorldofWarcraft Which, obviously is a scam.
And sorry to say, if you fall for that, it's your own fault. But yes, good post Dr. Emu!

OK thanks mate and about payment before info, i already added that to the post^^
Its recommended to not give your email in your post.
And btw, about that phising site hosters like ripway, there are some people who has managed to change that to wow-europe instead, somehow don't know.
I think its becouse you can use http://PHISINGSITE.com=?wow-europe.com or something.

Yes, I know - I'm just stating if they are Trading their account they should know not go give details about the Account (user/pass etc) before payment.
And about email, they should - faster and they wont be scammed if they're not dumb (yes, sorry if you have been scammed by a phisher, but it's way to obvious that it's a scam).
Just dont give any details about your WoW Account over E-mail, if you recive a genuine looking email, but not sure - E-mail blizz asking if it was them!
