New PVP season of wow patch 5.2
Season 13 is the latest PvP season, bringing with it a whole new set of PvP gear and rewards.
There are four tiers of relevant PvP gear, unlike three as in the past.
Crafted Gear: Crafters, in the process of doing daily transmutes, can learn the recipes to these new ilvl 458 armor sets. These look exactly the same as the honor sets introduced in 5.0. Accessories and weapons are not obtainable.
Honor Gear: Players can purchase ilvl 476 Malevolent Gladiator's gear for honor. The current set of ilvl 483 Malevolent Gear will no longer be able to be obtained. These new items look exactly the same as the old Malevolent armor.
Conquest Gear: Season 13 Tyrannical Gear is ilvl 493 and comes in different colors for Alliance and Horde players.
Elite Gear: Season 13 Tyrannical Elite Gear is ilvl 512 and requires players to acquire 27,000 Conquest Points in Season 13, in place of 2200 rating, to purchase.
PvP Power on weapons for casters and healers is split more evenly in 5.2 between main-hand and off-hand slots, similar to a dual-wielding melee. This will retroactively apply to Season 12 weapons.
Season 13 weapons for casters will cost slightly less than before, while off-hands will cost slightly more.
