[Beta] YiasEdit DX - The new Aera 3.X Mapeditor
Register to remove this adHello all!
I present you my newest creation. YiasEdit DX. Its a completly new version of my old WoW Mapeditor. It has changed so much that it basically isnt the same program anymore. A lot of more details were added, a lot of more features came into place and it is now a lot more userfriendly!
During the night and tomorrow i will write and upload a complete documentation about the current features aswell as a filled tutorialsystem (which atm has only 3 entries).[/QUOTE]
I hope you will enjoy it and post a lot of things. For everyone willing to get a little insight of the features, check my youtube-channel:
You find the download here (no registration):

Here are the newest updates:
MCCV is working. This is used to manipulate the shaders that wow uses. Every pixel can be multiplied after rendering with a specific factor for alpha, red, green or blue. Here you can see the effects:
Drawing those MCCV-values is very easy. You just specify how every channel should be multiplied and then draw it:
Also there is full support for Oulands and Northrend is in development, as you can see from the following pictures:
And thats the roadmap for the future:
- Adding low-detail shadows
- Adding holes
- Adding Objects
