[How to Apply - 2] How to apply for staff position!
I opened this topic because I'm getting bored of noobs that make applications and they say that they are good and are older than they are.
I'll make a perfect application to show you how to make it to be 80% sure that you will be accepted:
1. What is your name?
David, but you can call me Dave.
2. How old are you?
I'm 18. (you have to be the minimum of 16)
3. Where do you live?
I'm from Romania, Bucharest.
4. How long have you player retail wow?(blizzard)
About 2-3 years but I'm learning very fast.
5. How long have you played on our server?
Since it came out. (you can say the minimum of 1 month)
6. What other experiences as a gm/dev have you had?
I was gm on Wowmate, Neverendless-wow, warglaive-wow, and on my own test servers where I learned the basics about lua and databases.
7. What are your skills in Wow world?
I have the knowledge of all the gm commands, I can act very mature when I want to. I know how to work form a database and how to debug several glitches. I can design a website, track hackers and soon I'll be able to script instances and malls. I can create custom bosses and quests but this depends on what database are you using.
8. If you are a dev, what can you do?
I'm not a dev.

I can lua script instances, I can also debug spells and quests and I can develop a fully working teleporter/mall. I have the knowledge of c++ and I'm pretty good at php.
9. How would you act if the players would go mad in the middle of a event?
I wouldn't kick them out of the server. Only if I am an admin and if the owner trusts me. I would send them to their starting locations and suspend the event.
10. What would you do if a player tells you that his character is bugged and he couldn't take the drops from the ceratin bosses. I'll check his time played and see if he really played more than 2 hours. I will realise if he had or not enough time to make the bosses, then I'll check the database and the console to see what really happened. If he seems to tell the truth I'll tell him that his character is bugged and he needs to do a new one. If he tells that he wants the items from me, I'll put him to make a new character and then I'll check the bosses. I'll request some players to help him kill the bosses again after I mod his level to his older.
P.s: I'll delete his old character from the database.
11. How would you make our server better?
I would create a new instance with better drops, I'll make the rates grow up a little because I've noticed that the players leave because they get bored to level. I would also add a 24/24 maze event with a npc event vendor at the end.
12. What is the easiest way to get a the in-game tickets?
Joining gm_sync_channel and typing .gmticket get, or you could install the ticket tracker addon and type /tt. I prefer the addon, because it auto type the command when you log into the server.
13. Can you show us your best boss script? It can be anything.

After you answer the questions above you MUST add some pictures with your own work. I didn't have much time to do so I just created some custom malls with people dancing and listening to rock bands.
