Anyone else having issues with mobs in Darkshire, ZG entrance, booty bay where they come to you but don't attack? Then you can backup with a ranged weapon and easily kill them. Once dead they warp back where they spawned from?
I have level 19 toons on my server going to the ZG entrance and killing the elites there...
My girlfriend is having that problem in Tanaris :
I teleported to town using the .goname command which removed me from combat. So, then I mounted up and ran back out to finish my quest. Along the way I saw a mine so I dismounted, began to mine, and a mob came up and started attacking me. I killed the mob, but again it wouldn't let me leave combat. I used the .combat command to remove myself from combat and then a little further down the road I dismounted to mine again. I attacked a mob but instead of dealing damage the mob ran at me, then ran past me, and then stopped. The mob stood still and I was unable to kill it. I was locked in combat again so I logged out and logged back in to find I was dead.
I just reboot the server and seems to reset whatever invisible mob is attacking her
I was hoping to learn a bit through poking and maybe give a hand since it seems a lot of work, but I think I do more harm than good :(
Well I went back to update 79, just copied over my characters and realmd and now everything is fixed. Afraid to update because I think 81 caused all the issues.

Very Impressive. However, I must add that he hasnt won yet. Look at his "Death from Hogger" stats, it is still 0. You cant beat WoW, unless you have died to Hogger at least twice!

Turn right coming out of Stormwind, and keep going until you are reach the guard towers by the bridge that leads towards the zone that the Dead Mines are in. Keep going straight, and you will see a bunch of gnolls, when you get close to where the land stops and is surrounded by creeks, you will see Hogger prancing about.

Been out of the WoW server scene for over a year, happened across this, got it up and running in 20 minutes, took longer to get my WoW client set up at 3.3.5a, lol.
Thanks for all the hard work, this is all kinds of awesome, my 10 year old son is stoked to be able to play again.
Been gone a couple-o-days again... gonna compile an update today. As for those who are asking for playerBot and other non-Blizzlike addons, I'm sorry, but I like to keep things as Blizzlike as possible.

I can understand you, but im just playin with 4 -10 friends, we also want it as much blizzlike as possible. Could you not add playerbot anyway? you can set it in mangosd.conf on disabled as standard and people like me can easily enable the playerbot via mangosd.conf

Last time I added playerbot to a 3.3.5a installation the CPU usage went through the roof, even when it was disabled. As I cannot find a stable injection of playerbot, and, as I said, I'm keeping this blizzlike, it will not be included in the foreseeable future.

Can someone please test this.. Ever since update 81 I believe i've had a bunch of issues with pets and mobs in certain areas. When I revert back to 79, it works fine. The mobs outside ZG in stranglethorn vale. Attack one and then backup. They won't follow you but instead stop.. Same with mobs in duskwood. Then hunter pets don't move and get stuck in Booty bay and possible other places. Again since 81 or so. if I redownload and use only my character/realm db back to 79 it works fine. but as soon as I update things get messed up. I've been running this repack since update 20 so pretty sure I know what I am doing.

I don't normally double-post, most of you now this... but I thought this was important enough to warrant it.
I went through my database with a fine tooth comb today and found a LOT (over 1200 errors), I have fixed them and completely redid both the scriptdev2 and mangos dbs and I believe I have fixed most, if not all, of the problems that have plagued a lot of you... This will require a completely different type of update, so I will be writing a little guide in a few moments that will show you how to update the two dbs without disrupting your accounts or characters.
Great job updating this repack. I'm re-downloading (i have the old one) to give it a spin. Let me know when you have posted your fix for the 1200+ issues you mentioned above.
To install this update, please follow the instructions below:
1. Close the MySQL.bat file. If you have installed MySQL as a service using the C:\Server\mysql\mysql_installservice.bat please double-click the mysql_uninstallservice.bat.
2. Go to the C:\Server\mysql\data folder and delete the mangos and scriptdev2 folders.
3. Copy the extracted mangos and scriptdev2 folders from the database_updates.zip to the C:\Server\mysql\data folder.
4. Restart the MySQL.bat file or reinstall the MySQL service.
The core update is installed just like all previous core updates.
This WILL not affect your characters or accounts but will impact any custom malls, etc which you have made.
This update contains all of my fixes, patches, etc and will bring the Repack up to:

Looks good CT. Got the database changed over no problem. Constant crash on mangosd.exe. But I am sure it is due to not having the core for this update yet. (Yes, I see its compiling.) Just figured I would toss this up for others, before they freak out, in case they do the db before the core. Many, many, many thanks for all your hard work and fixes and attention to detail. Hope you and yours have a safe a terrific holiday this coming week! Thanks again for everything. Will let you know if I have any issues once core TRM 84 is released.
