    Why i only see windows repacks ?

    You guys really shout turn your back on windows and use linux. Servers and clients run much better on it.

    Official client 5.0.5 on a i7 with nVidia 560 Ti with 2GB:

    Windows 7 x64 Ultimate -> ~70 FPS ( going down to 30 in cities )
    Xubuntu 12.04 LTS x64 ( wine 1.5.x ) -> 150 FPS ( going down to 90 in cities )
    ( using wow-64.exe on both. DirectX 11 on Windows and OpenGL on Linux )

    For the servers, you should use a Linux Server build like Ubuntu Server x64. Not that it whould change the software bugs of the cores but it doesnt use that much ressources of your servermachine like windows does. Still doesnt understand why windows is using a GUI for their server releases, i own 4 servermachines ( not rented, i own them ) and none of them got a graphics card with more than 32 MB GRAM so why i should use a GUI on a server ? Also typing in terminals is much faster most of the time

    ok enough windows hating text, where are the linux repacks ?

    ( If mah grammar sucks, it might be because im german and my english is a bit ... uhm ... rusty )

    Windows is much more functional and recommended for repacks, the other Operating Systems may have more issues when running the repacks from what I've experienced.
