im new to mmopro and repacks - and have very little no how on the subject but after seeing a private srver on youtube i thought i would give Catalyst Repack V1.2 ago ,,but i caint get it to login i have followed the text file and can get it up and running i made the account in mangos but when try sign in to wow ,,,i get a message saying somthing about can not comfirm version i have tryed a total wipe and set my realmlist to 127.0.0.1 but still caint log in to wow..... so as a total noob i am guessing im on the wrong patch ..im using 3.3.3a ..I TRIED A FRESH INSTALL OF WOW ..can some1 plz help me out in easy to follow detail ..kind regards karl THE NOOB....;}

big thz man ........that as sorted me ,,,,,,, im nearly up and running i just had to change the date in wow to us and install the patch ...80% downloaded so fingers crossed it works this time KARL THE NOOB

ok im running windows 7 eneu 4.4.0 11927 realeased april 23 2010 what i did was get the Cataclysm Pre-Release 11927 enGB.rar put it in my wow folder and set it going when it was completed i now have a foldor called wow beta inside my orig wow ...in this beta folder i opened date eneu realmlist set it to ... set realmlist 127.0.0.1 then followed THE instructions in the Catalyst Repack V2.0 i beleve i did it all ok with mysql and i used naticat it seemed to be straight forward expet were IT SAYS (USE INCLUDED REALMD AND CHARACTERS!) any way dident touch the config files and started launch first realmd.exe, then mangosd.exe and wait for it to load i made the account in mangos but when i try conect in game it wont work i had dif messages wrong user name server down ect i have spent near 16 hours a day trying to get round this installing and uninstalling ect the first 4 times i was trying to install it on patch 3.3.2.,,umm like i say im a total noob ...

any way here i go again i thought i would try a dif way and read around the net and found sandbox now if i uninstall mysql and boot up sandbox it lets me log in straight away although in the game there is no npc/s or nothing and i dont no how or if it is pos to open sandbox in nadicat to load chars i really am a noob to this but would love to have a up and running copy were i can add my own np/s gobjects ect the more i read the more i want as you can prob tell im a total wow addict and was playing near 14 hours aday constant 4 over 9 months i have tryed a Dead-WoW Repack and got that going but would rather have a go with catalst so please can you get me the info i need or detailed easy help to get me running so i can start my own world heres is a youtube link to my realm i started last week with the above mentioned and any info would be great to get me going in the right direction or even som1 that would do windows remote desktop hint hint just to help me get it up and running ...thz for reading my pm kind regards karl

I hit patch and noW I'm having problems. 4.0 is on my reegular game, meaning it patched up from the beta to the real game. this is a huge error, and IO can't sign in to the real game anymore. What does my hoe do?
