Thanks for ya advice wjcb1975 but from what others say it sounds like the issue is that the ahbot has not been compiled in CU_0073, I'm happy to wait till the next update and give that a go.

The character guid and account are one of the few things that I know have always been set the same way from before when it was working. I understand in some of the later builds of ahbot (the development tree) that you don't even need a dedicated account and character. However not sure if CT is planning to use that or the more stable release. I really don't mind - just be happy to have it back without the effort of compiling it myself

i have a question to ask and i say sorry now if this has been answer
my desktop died and now i have to set this repack up on my laptop.
so when i load the main server do i have to load all the update or just the latest

in the update folder there is an sql called mangos 0000-0074 sql, characters all sql and script dev 2 all sql these are the ones you use for a fresh install of the repack
