Introduction:

Hello fellow MMOFuse Today I would like to introduce ArcEmu Mists Of Pandaria Development!
This is a project where we will work hard to get ArcEmu Mists Of Pandaria as blizzlike as possible. We will be working a lot with Battlegrounds and getting all the bosses and mobs to work correctly. We are going to stay on Mists Of Pandaria forever and we will not update if a new expansion comes out. We want to be better than all these other emulators that already exist, for example, Trinity Core, Mangos, Skyfire and Strawberry. This will take time and require insane effort, but with a team it will go. That's why I'm posting this thread here. We need a team!


Information:

We will be based on an old version of arcemu that I worked a little on the back of the 4.0.3-4.0.6 days.
We will work heavily in quality and to be as fast and efficient as possible.
We will stay on the Mists Of Pandaria and not update if a new expansion comes out! We want to be the first functioning Mists Of Pandaria emulator with working content, quests and bosses. We will work hard to always be the best!

We will also work hard with our own database and structure and not use any old ArcEmu database. We will start from scratch.

C++ Developer:

* All aspects of the standard C++ language
* Experience in Object Oriented Analysis and Design
* Strong skills with common data structures, logic and common algorithms.
* As well, we expect a willingness to learn what's needed to succeed


Pluses:

* Experience with code optimization to improve performance
* Self-motivation and willingness to pitch in on many areas of development
* Experience with multi-threaded programming
* Passion for playing World of Warcraft
* Knowledge of MySQL
* Network programming using sockets (BSD socks library, WINSOCK2, etc)
* Reverse engineering skills (x86 assembly is a definite plus!)


Scripter:

* All aspects of the standard C++ language
* All aspects of Arcemu's Lua engine.
* Experience in Object Oriented Analysis and Design
* Strong skills with common data structures, logic and common algorithms.
* As well, we expect a willingness to learn what's needed to suceed


Pluses:
* Experience with code optimization to improve performance
* Passion for playing World of Warcraft and an active World of Warcraft Account



Database Manager (New):



Operate effectively and cooperatively within the development department.
Work as a technical resource on project teams as necessary, sometimes meeting and coordinating programming activity with core developers.
Review and optimize database queries.
Design, develop and deliver reports on time.
Perform various fixes and meet the deadlines.
