Hello everyone, and welcome to my thread on making that little extra gold in the upcoming patch, 3.3.3.
You can find the patch notes in full here:

Note: These are PTR patch notes and are subject to change at any time. I will not be held liable for any gold that you may / may not lose.

Let's start, shall we?

PvP
Overview
Code:
The amount of Honor awarded for an Honorable Kill has been increased by 100% for characters of all levels.
Given that all avenues in the game which award players with Honor do so with a calculated conversion from a specific
amount of Honorable Kills, this change means that all Honor players can obtain through various means will be increased
by 100%. To offset against this in two key areas, experience gains in Battlegrounds have been reduced by 50% and
Honor awarded for completing each Wintergrasp weekly quest has been reduced by 50%. When pairing the Honor
rewarded from Honorable Kills being increased by 100% with the 50% Honor reduction from Wintergrasp weekly quests,
and 50% experience-gain reduction from completing objectives in Battlegrounds, players will notice no change in the net
amount of Honor or experience awarded in either case.
There's not much really to say here, it's all pretty self-explanatory. But this is not the interesting bit, this is just an overview. You recall in 3.3 the introduction of the Random Dungeon Finder, no? Well, Blizzard hadsuch a good return that..

Code:
The Random Battleground system has been added! Similar to the Random Dungeon system in the Dungeon Finder, players can now queue for a random Battleground.
Now, this is the big potential money maker. Players can queue for a random battleground.. sounds pretty unrewarding, right?
Let's assume every Honorable Kill gives 63 honor before patch 3.3.3, and that you gain 30 Honorable Kills per Battleground. This doubles to 126 honor.

The first Random Battleground you win every day will give you 30 Honorable Kills worth of Honor points, and 25 Arena Points. This equates to 3780 Honor Points. This stacks with the amount of honor you will get per battleground through Honorable Kills normally.
Every Random Battleground you win thereafter will award you with 15 Honorable Kills worth of Honor Points. This equates to 1890 Honor Points, again, stacking with any Honorable Kill you make within that battleground.
Losing a Random Battleground will give you 5 Honorable Kills worth of Honor Points; 630 Honor.

Let's again assume that you score 30 Honorable Kills in a battleground, and you do two battlegrounds, and you win both.
This will give you 7560 honor for the kills, and another 3780 for winning two Random Battlegrounds (This is not counting your first Random Battleground).
This equates to 11340 honor from two Battlegrounds.
Now we'll add in the first Random Battleground (again, with 30HKs in a single battle), which is another 7560 Honor.
This is 18900 Honor Points from 3 Battlegrounds.

The Wonga
With patch 3.3.2 came the introduction of the Wrathful Gladiator's Set. Every class, as usual, has a set, and there are offsets.
Each class set has 1 Meta Gem slot, 3 Red Gem slots, 2 Yellow Gem slots and 2 Blue Gem slots.
The boots have 1 Yellow Gem slot.
The Main Hand, One Hand and Off Hand weapons have 1 Blue Gem slot.
The Two Hand weapons have 1 Red Gem slot and 1 Blue Gem slot.
The Waist items have 1 Blue Gem slot and 1 Prismatic Slot (everyone will grab an Eternal Belt Buckle).

Your standard caster will have 1 Meta Gem, 4 Red Gems, 3 Yellow Gems, 4 Blue Gems and a Prismatic Slot.
Your Dual Wield meleer will have 1 Meta Gem, 3 Red Gems, 3 Yellow Gems, 5 Blue Gems and a Primatic Slot.
A 2-Hand Wielding Meleer will have 1 Meta Gem, 4 Red Gems, 3 Yellow Gems, 4 Blue Gems and a Prismatic Slot.

Players are going to be earning Honor Points faster than ever before. This will result in a large increase of players gaining the Wrathful set. I recommend you check the class balance on your server using a site like Wowprogess (Not amazingly accurate but good enough) and deciding what gems to sell.
The following gems are in high demand for each role:

Caster:
Code:
Meta: Powerful Earthsiege Diamond
Red: Runed Cardinal Ruby
Yellow: Quick King's Amber
Blue: Solid Majestic Zircon
Warrior, Blood Deathknight or Rogue:
Code:
Meta: Persistant Earthsiege Diamond
Red: Fractured Cardinal Ruby, Bright Cardinal Ruby (probably won't be so popular as Fractured, ARP ARP IMMA SEAL)
Yellow: Smooth King's Amber (If at all)
Blue: Solid Majestic Zircon
Enhancement Shaman, Unholy Deathknight or Retribution Paladin (Fat chance of finding one of those!):
Code:
Meta: Persistant Earthsiege Diamond
Red: Bright Cardinal Ruby
Yellow: Smooth King's Amber (If at all)
Blue: Solid Majestic Zircon, Stormy Majestic Zircon (won't be so popular as Solid)
Basically, you're looking to craft and sell these gems dependant on the class balance of your server. Expect the prices to rise a bit and the demand increase.

Professions

Runed Orbs
Code:
Runed Orbs: Recipes which require this item have had their material requirements significantly reduced.
This means that Runed Orbs will decrease in price and demand. Don't bother stockpiling them.

Inscription
Code:
Most recipes that required 2 inks now only require 1.
The various inks required for the glyphs affected by this (N/A) will cost less to produce, and the demand for such inks will decrease, but not by much. Expect more scribes to come to the market a bit quicker, you may have to start pricing competitively.

Mining
Code:
Titansteel Bar: Creating this item no longer results in a cooldown.
The Titansteel Bar market will practically collapse, or at least get worse. The price will drop due to the high supply and low demand of these things, so expect the prices of various Titansteel products to correlate with this.

Tailoring
Code:
Glacial Bag: Creating this item now invokes a 7-day cooldown.
This will make the Glacial Bag's price sky-rocket, most likely. Expect them to double in price in worst case scenarios.

Code:
The cooldown and location requirements have been removed from creating Moonshroud, Spellweave and Ebonweave.
On the other hand, expect the prices for items that require these reagents, and the reagents themselves, drop as the market becomes flooded with them.

Items
Frozen Orbs
Code:
Frozo the Renowned has moved into the Dalaran Magus Commerce Exchange and will be trading your Frozen Orbs for various other trade goods.
I would start stockpiling your Frozen Orbs in case you can get valuable goodies from Frozo. They're roughly 10g on most servers at the moment, take advantage of this.

Exchangeable items (credits to Daishi001):

Code:
Crusader Orb (6 Frozen Orbs)
Runed Orb (4 Frozen Orbs)
Eternal Fire (1 Frozen Orb)
Eternal Earth (1 Frozen Orb)
Eternal Water (1 Frozen Orb)
Eternal Air (1 Frozen Orb)
Eternal Life (1 Frozen Orb)
Eternal Shadow (1 Frozen Orb)
Frost Lotus (1 Frozen Orb)
Pattern: Frosty Flying Carpet [Tailors Only] (6 Frozen Orbs)

That's it from me. This is my attempt at contributing, so I hope I've helped!

NB: Better formatting is coming to a thread near you

NB#2: I acknowledge there is another thread on the same page about the Frozen Orbs, so credits to the owner for the idea.
