Thread: WoW Source 4.3.4 repack

Hi

I set up the server and got it running by copying a couple of .DLLs to the server folder. All servers are up and running. I can log in with the client from a workstation but when I pick a realm it flashes logging into game server for about 2 seconds then goes back to picking a realm, doesn't get any further.
Any ideas what to look for.

This is running on windows server 2008 R2. ports 3724,3306, 8129, 8093, 6112, 3036, 8050, 6881-6999 are open in the firewall.

Guess no one looks at these once they post.
I set it on 2 other machines win7 32 and win8 64 bit, same problem. I have tried other repacks and even compiled it in windows and Ubuntu server 64 bit and same problem. I have even tried different clients I keep getting the same problem, login is fine, Realm selection, logging into game server then nothing back to realm selection. I have seen reading through the forums that other people have had the same problem but never saw a solution. I have set up other game server before but this one has the least amount of help. Most tutorials are missing steps that need to be done.

anyone have any clues on whats going on. I have been trying to get a wow server going for about 3 weeks now.

Its called realm loop and every talks about it and fixes it but for noobs like me! they never say how they fixed it.... I had the same.... here is what i did , but I'm not sure what fixed it.... I think it was by installing HeidiSQL and changing the login a realm list to the server pc network ip instead of the 127.0.0.1...

I disabled my firewall on both pc and router... enabled dmz for the server pc on my router....
I also down loaded visual c ect.... cmake.... and git from github or something like that...

If your still having trouble the google realm loop...

forgot to mention..... I love this repack...... just wished I could use bgfinder and arenas and add a second realm.... any ideas please post them!
