I'm working hard on getting a decent 3.3.3 ArcEmu core, it should prob be released anytime soon between now & next week. More likely next week hence I have a 2 week vacation than.

Greetings!

I've hit a slight problem. Mangos.exe is unable to located the map files although I've placed them in the "maps" folder which is located in the "MaNGOS-Server" folder. This is the error message:

2010-03-29 10:29:28 ERROR:Correct *.map files not found in path './maps' or *.vmap/*vmdir files in './vmaps'. Please place *.map/*.vmap/*.vmdir files in appropriate directories or correct the DataDir value in the mangosd.conf file.

Help is much appreciated, thanks.

sounds good but when using the maps from the link i get a ERROR:Map file './maps/0004331.map' is non-compatible version (outdated?). Please, create new using ad.exe program.

I posted the links for the Ad.exe. You have to place them in your WoW directory & run it.

The error message was showing up even when the map files were in place though. Here's an image showing my file structure:

I've tried maps from two different links as well. Perhaps it's because I imported account and character data to the database from queries which were made from a 3.3.2 database. (MaNGOS)
