Thread: [Release] Ikesters 4.2.0 14480 Repack dev release updated with 4.3.0

Completing the first quest in the Worgen starting area still crashes the client. This is the exact same repack as the last Ikester's repack, the only difference is the addition of the 4.2.0 patched client. Also, in the worldserver.exe console window, tons of errors pop up while playing. I'd say focus more on stability because the content of the repack, from what I can see, is definitely top notch. Thanks for the updated client though.

Thank you for this repack! I was trying to download from megaupload, but the speeds seem to be horrifically slow. It appears to be 7+ hours, and the file is only a few hundred megabytes. I am on a 'BT Infinity' connection which certainly isn't slow. It peaks at about 4.7MB/s - megaBYTES, not bits and even at heavy usage hours I get around 1MB/s or about that!

Anyway, usually megaupload is pretty good, maybe it's just peak hours? Anyway, I'd recommend hosting your files on mediafire! It's free completely as far as I can tell. You download without wait time and the speeds are pretty good. Used them for the past few years and it's great for a free service. (Obv they have premium service but y'know)


PS: Will this work with WoW 4.3 on a Mac? I'm wondering that if the wow.exe is patched or something to that effect, that my Mac client may not be properly patched. The server will be on a Windows installation, but the client would be on both Windows and Mac. Any ideas on this?

When i tried running the authserver or the worldserver i keep getting a pop up saying "The program can't start beacuse MSVCR100.dll/MSVCP100.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." any way to fix this?

i logged in with the right information and i clicked on the development realm, and there is no realm there? wtf is going on?
