    warez, like Wig said, is illegal versions, or pirates, which are all found in warez sites. people use them all the time, but we like to stay clean here i think

    Here's an example:

    You download the installer for Photoshop CS3
    - That's legal.

    You download the installer for Photoshop CS3 PLUS keygen and activation-hack.
    - That's illegal -> warez

    That's how simple it is. ^^
