One question regarding allmost all repacks.I don;t have router i have a static ip adress i tried all the damn configs ever deleted replaced on and on just so i could reach a conection from public, note that i can test it anytime since i have 2 internet providers.Now thing is that i can;t connect from the other pc. All the guides i saw are totaly ****ed or not working for me.So could someone explain how to make it public without hamachi and for a static ip adress. Thank you.

Well first you need to bind ip's in ur realmd config and mangosd config to w.e u set ur ip address. Then you need to go to dyndns and make an account and set that up, Also you will need navicat. You said you didnt have a router so I dont think you will need to worry about ports. then you need to find the host file in system 32 and copy and paste ur network information in it. When u dl navicat you will need to type in the user and pass for the mysql so it can link to navicat which is root then mangos. Then it should link up if you have any questions just pm me, This was quicky put together so. Also my msn is on here.

Im having a problem. after i edit the mangosd.conf to include the data directoy i cant get the mangosd.exe to run without crashing. it also will not put out a error log after the mangosd.conf is edited.

Yeah that didn't work for me either has to be with original settings. y do you want to edit it anyways? If there is a fix for that Im not sure how to do it.

As slipk487 said , after i edit config files and i try to start it , it crashes, well actualy is not starting anymore. So basicaly it acts like its damn dependent on 127.0.0.1. Edititing realmd with heidi or navicat doesn;t help. I tryed on all 3 cores Arcemu Trinity and Mangos and all 3 crash.Maybe there is something else deeper that needs some review idk, thats what i'm posting. Allso i read tons of posts that bind ip needs to stay 0.0.0.0 so it can listen to all ip's.

@ Nimrod. if you are making it public you have to bind it to the dyndns server name, Also the one used for navicat. It's to complicated for me to explain to you on here. i would have to show you somehow. But I have my private server up with 3 realms with this repack and it's stable. But im not really sure if you are trying to make it public or just for your personal use. If it is for personal use then your realmd bind should be 127.0.0.1 same goes for mangosd. Also go back and double check on the instructions he gave you to set it up. also do you have an error log that says why it crashes?
