Hey...I got This error:

2010-07-22 09:25:27 ERROR: Map file './maps/0004331.map' is non-compatible version (outdated?). Please, create new using ad.exe program.
2010-07-22 09:25:27 ERROR: Correct *.map files not found in path './maps' or *.vmap/*vmdir files in './vmaps'. Please place *.map/*.vmap/*.vmdir files in appropriate directories or correct the DataDir value in the world.conf file.

I have 3.3.3 version at WOW.
Please help!

I had the same problem. We did this on 2 computers, the better one tried with 2010 and wouldn't work so we used 2008 and it was fine. The lesser machine (mine

) used 2008, got the error, so I compiled using the VC80 version and just converted. Worked fine, although at one point I had to delete the scriptdev2 folder and did SVN checkout step again, then got it to work using 80. Hope that helps.

also, i cannot run mangosd.exe

Any error messages regarding mangosd.exe? Try running it in Administrator if your on Vista.

This is a great guide. Everything compiles great for me. Only thing is no ICC is that the database or am i missing something? Cant seem to get any custom scripts to work either followed your guide to Xees. Need help with this plz

This is the best guide I have found. It worked great. I use Visual C++ 2008 Express Edition on Vista with out any problems...
